The Journey Of A Simple Guy In Finding The Best Of Life

Magic 8 Ball

I gave up.. 3 weeks in a row… I thought the endless line is over… but to my surprise, people are still going gaga to see the movie. SM Cinema is so fucked up with the massive turn out. Don’t mess with Star Cinema..

You may have love him longer, but that doesn’t mean i love him any less..

The movie is so good but I would have appreciated it more if I have a love life… but, this movie would inspire you to live and to love. Bea did an awesome job. Kris Aquino and John Lloyd Cruz are both right that the best scene is when Bea’s inside the pick-up talking to Derek Ramsey. It’s actually the moment that everyone’s been waiting for but this old man on my left side ruined it all as he keeps on ignoring his phone that keeps on ringing at the entire scene.

Anyway if you haven’t seen it yet, go visit any Ayala Cinemas and line up with your head held high. You shouldn’t feel embarrassed that someone you know might see you watching the film. It’s a good movie and even A-market is watching it.

And now, excuse me as I have some questioning to do:

The Magic 8 Ball

Question: Will this be a Winter Wonderland Year?

So far so good!

  • In Front of HMV in TST

Thid Day, we were supposed to spend the entire day in Disneyland but due to the weather condition (and our body calling for more retail therapy), we’ve decided to spend more cash in Harbour City wearing Checkered tops!

Cee was about to bring some cake for my birthday, but due to time constraint she was not able to buy me one. So when we are at Silvercord Mall, we passed by at BreadTalk and bought Tiramisu and ate it all until we both passed out at the Food Central.

Thanks to Cee for my post-birthday cake

    Hans off please

God knows how many photos I have like this… might have to look for another photographer… peace!

It was a completely tiring and exhausting day we had. We spent the entire day in the mall trying for some shoes, looking for some potential must-haves and giving away our cash in exchange for some merchandise. Mind you, the heat outside is crazy. Whenever we step out the Canton Road, I end up with wet maps at the back of my shirt. It was so freaking hot! Bonaqua is my BFF in HK.

At the Kids Section.. Love this place

Since it will be our last night in HK, we decided to spend more hours in shopping until the busy streets of Canton Road was wiped out. However, (there is a HUGE however to this) Cee got all tired with all that shopping bags she’s carrying and just had what rheumatism. We missed the Laser Lights Show in Victoria Harbour and went home to drop our bags to rest for a while before we head to the Night Market in Mongkok.

when rheumatism strikes… leave her alone and do your own shopping

    After 300 shots… there you go…a better capture… I had 5 out of 400 on the entire trip…lol

It was totally a tiring day. Cee passed out while I was still on facebook.

    New York… New York…

You know how I feel about movies made in New York and Paris… I love all of ‘em…No matter how awful the story is or whoever the lead star is, I’ll buy DVDs and watch them over and over again.

    DSCN3455

I don’t know.. it inspires me. Inspires me to move and travel the world… inspires me to, to, to shop! hahahahahaha

Whenever I watch these movies, there’s too much running on my mind. How is it like settling to these wonderful places.. How one feels whenever they shop in the infamous 5th Avenue (I can tell you, it’s like you’re on top of the world!).. How is it like to have snack in Central Park wearing a Burberry trench coat.. or how to fall in love in New York (hahahaha)..

    DSCN2550

And here’s another movie that’s for sure will be a hit! If this movie will not be shown in all SM Cinemas, It will be a total loss!

    Can’t wait!

Would you agree with Perez Hilton on the “mediocre” comment?

When I first heard that Mariah Carey will be doing a version of Foreigner’s I Wanna Know What Love Is for her up coming (yet again) album, I tried to contemplate if she can pull it off. Thinking that maybe, at least maybe, there might be some wonders that the once perfect vocals of Mimi will be heard once again on this song. I know Mimi will do everything that she can just to twist the attention to her from the release of the come back album of Whitney Houston on the 31st.

Last night, after the inconceivable, indescribable and beyond one’s wildest dream TRAFFIC in Katipunan and Libis, I got an email from That Grape Juice in facebook that the much awaited single is out. I right away check YouTube to listened on it on my phone and to my surprise, I was disgruntled!

To be honest with all of you, I keep on playing the track on the back ground just to make sure that I am writing my opinion right. Hoping that at least at one point, that I might have heard wrong and write some good points on her rendition. But sorry Orville and Sherwin, it was really not Good. It was really a Mediocre at its best. All I can hear is her whispers and squeals.

In doing a revival, there is one thing that you have to remember. Make the song your own and better what the original singer did and be remember on that. In her version, all I can remember is that she ruined all the melodies and it’s like she is so out there trying to win back all the attentions she had before. Ok, ok the vocals are good but can she pull it off LIVE? Can’t wait! Just make sure to pull it off like Wynona Judd. I better of listening to Tina Arena than hers.
