I just got back home from a quick trip at The Block.

Well, not that I despise going to SM Malls but I really think the mall has nothing new to offer its buyers. Of course, there’s the usual Watsons, the department store, supermarket and so on but every time that I get a chance (not that I really have to schedule it but i really don’t have time to go there) to go there, its like i wouldn’t last an hour or two (except if I’m with someone) and then head out.

Anyway, it’s quite sometime now since my last visit at The Block. I was hunting for a book that is not yet released in the US and I thought of going to Fullybooked for maybe, and only maybe they already have it. After checking out their shelves, it turned out that they still don’t have it but they can order it for me but it will most likely arrived in 2 – 3 months. I can’t wait that long! I can have it shipped it less than a month. I end up buying another book from Michael Tonello… Bringing Home the Birkin…

After picking up the book, I decided to stroll around the newly developed Sky Garden at SM North. As I walk outside from the mall, I thought that the place is totally a ghost town. It’s not yet fully developed as the area is not filled with restaurants yet but it is trying to be an Ayala Mall with all that open space area. I think the plan of having a terrace in the heart of EDSA is such big disaster. Who will enjoy dining out with all that noise from motorists and the polluted air?

SM North EDSA may be one of the biggest malls in Asia or in the world but NOT the FINEST. Ayala Malls, on the other hand is the BEST! It’s the Nature in the heart of the Metro.
