Honestly, I was pretty quite good when I was in college. I’ve got excellent grades, been a President of a National Organization and quite in control of all my duties and responsibilities. To sum it all up, it’s quite boring. That is why when I finished my bachelor degree, I thought of resting for a while before looking for a job.

However, I got bored after a week of doing nothing at home. Yes I may have gone malling, out of town trips and parties with friends but I feel so worthless doing all that stuffs. I need something that makes me feel that I’m a grown up person.

Weeks have passed, I decided on scanning through the pages of news papers for a job, checking job sites and contacting connections to check for potential openings. I have never received any feedback from them. That’s the time I thought that it could be possible that the course I took in college isn’t that in demand. Maybe acquiring some online degree could edge on my part.

Since then, I googled for some schools that offers degree courses that can be acquired online. I run into Western Governors Online University which offers online business degree that will surely enhanced my skills to what the market demands for its potential employees. The good thing with WGU is that it is not just offering business courses but also some Degree Courses in IT that is related to the course I took in college. With their emphasis in acquired skills and knowledge, for sure it will make me more competitive in the growing market today.
