Now you can comment to your friend’s facebook status, retweet the shout out of any celebrities you’re following on twitter, blog your bumpy plane ride experience and read your favorite online magazines using any of your wifi enabled equipments.

The internet is for free until June 8 in celebration of the new service. Afterwhich, a certain cost will be shouldered by anyone who wanted to be hooked up on the internet to those aircrafts with wifi symbol on it. See below for the costs:

$4.95 – for flights upto 90 minutes regardless on how you access it
$7.95 – for mobile devices (up to 3 hours)
$9.95 – for laptops and netbooks (up to 3 hours)
$12.95 – for laptops and netbooks (longer than 3 hours)
$7.95 – for mobile devices (longer than 3 hours)

Note that the service is only available to flights across United States. You may check out USAirways site for which routes have the service.
