Finally, it arrived!

I’ve been longing to have this luggage tag since I saw it on some blog post some few months ago. I tried to locate some stores selling this but it’s nowhere to be found… even online. Luckily, a friend of mine was able to find one in Bugis area and buy me one.

The tag is made of rubber and not that expensive. It’s actually around SGD4 but looks cool! I actually got sad when it was handed over to me as I won’t be using it to any trips until next year. I can’t afford to buy plane tickets this year, even Branson vacation packages, which is so cheap – I tell you, seems to be so expensive for me.

Well I think my leave credits will remain to be untouched till the end of this year. Poor me.

Oh and Toni, I need more of this luggage tag in every color that you can get. Thank you

It’s been more than 5 years since I got to know this person… we we’re both selected by our superiors to undergo training as the pilot members of RMA Team. I admit that this young, flirty fella has more charm than me but I have the wit! To make the long story short, I passed the evaluation and she went back to her team.

After almost a year and few melodramas, I was deployed to this Special Applications Team and there we met again!

All those years that we were working as partner in crimes, whether I’m in Esca as Coach and she as QA (hired because of a lap dance), I have given her presents in exchange of NOTHING! Yes, she brought us to her hacienda (wherein she’s working on it now to save the land title – LOL) and gave me kilos of longganisa… but how will you compare that to a 4 days 3 nights stay in Boracay for free!?

I know she never asked but I do believe she’s expecting for it yearly. But something happened one day. After all these years, she finally decided to return all the favors!

Though I still don’t have a working camera right now, I managed to use it and upload a photo that I’ve decided to set as my wall paper on my iPad. This will remind me of my appreciation to this person and to what transpired same month last few years ago.

How can I forget about this!?

Today is the first day of the “ber” months and for us Filipinos, this would simply mean that Holiday Seasons is just around the corner! I’m sure most of us are planning for vacations, get together or listing down wish list for Santa but for someone like me, my mind is tied up with work.

Normally, this is the time where I conceptualizes designs for my gifts but due to heavy work loads and extended recession, I may have to pass on it this time… meaning, no high end designed boxes filled with Adidas rubber shoes, Zara ballerina shoes, Springfield shirts, Mango blouses, and Rustan’s items. It’s sad, I tell you but what can I do? I’m just a poor boy who can’t get a PS3 for his nephew, what more an iPhone4 for myself!?

Oh well, 2010 has not been that bad to me. I still have high hopes that my world will turn around before the year ends. If that happens, my Christmas will be as merry as yours.
