Saturday means last shift of the week… and this means rest. But amidst of the crazy heat of the sun yesterday, I managed to check out what’s happening in the metro.
I got a text from Stores Specialist Incorporated that they are kicking off their Mid Year Sale this month. Although I know that I don’t have the moolah to spend for some merchandise right now and SSI rarely give that huge discount, I still checked out Lacoste if there’s anything that would call for my name. Luckily, they’re on mute.
After my short trip to heaven, I went back to hell and hailed a cab to Greenhills. Actually, I was just supposed to buy a screen protector for my new toy but I can’t believe that this item do exists in this place!
I was so shocked when I saw an iTunes Gift Card at one of the stores in Viramall. It’s like spotting Ferrari parts at Banawe or Concorde in Megamall. At first I thought that it was just a display but I was amazed when the attendant told me that they’re actually selling it. I Love It!
Quite expensive but at least we can finally say bye to eBay…

What will you do if your phone rings and Steve Jobs is on the other line?
Like most of us would do, we’re not gonna believe and ask the person who he really was. This is what Louie Sulcer of Woodstock, Georgia have asked Steve when he phone him to tell the 71 year old man that he won $10,000 worth of iTunes gift cards!

Apple run a contest on iTunes store to reach the 10 Billion downloads on the store. The person who have downloaded the 10 Billionth song will win $10,000 worth iTunes gift card. And in this age of modern technology, who would’ve thought that a granpa in Georgia is using an iPod?

As for the winning song, Louie tried to listen to Johnny Cash’s Guess Things Happen That Way that he will be using for his sons video. He liked it and downloaded it without knowing that Apple is running a contest.
That’s actually a huge amount of gift cards! I couldn’t think of albums, movies or applications to download with that amount!
