Remember this Vogue cover last November 1999, just right before we enter the Millennium?

Well, I think this is one of the best Vogue cover they have in years. Photographed by Annie Leibovitz, the cover showcase some of the hottest and top supermodel we have that time and at the present.

As I was watching the celebrities arrived at the Kodak Theatre a while ago for the Oscars, I was amazed that the fashion has evolved at the red carpet this year. Only a few have seemed to be arrested by the Fashion Police. Actually, as the stars pose for the paparazzi, I was picturing on how I will be re-envision the Vogue cover with todays fashion.

So here we go…

VENUE: The Rosecliff, Rhode Island
MODELS: Sarah Jessica Parker, Charlize Theron, Diane Kruger, Amanda Seyfried, Vera Farmiga, Sandra Bullock, Rachel McAdams, Anna Kendrick
DESIGNERS: Chanel Couture, Dior Couture, Armani Prive, Marchesa, Elie Saab Haute Couture
MAKE-UP: Toni and Guy
PHOTOGRAPHER: Macappleboy

The set will be styled in a modern-Victorian inspired room with an overlooking garden from the inside or in a grand stair case. The models will be seated in different parts of the room (some of them will be standing) which lighted with Murray Feiss lamps, white and blush pink flower arrangements filled in the room and scattered pearls all over the place.

I bet this would be a lovely cover for Vogue!

For the editorials, several photos will be taken in some parts of the mansion like in the receiving area…

…at the fountain area…

… fireplace…

or at the garden…

Isn’t it lovely?

What if your means of popularity pulls you down to poverty?
This is most likely what will happen to Zev, a French young artist who is currently presenting a solo exhibition of his works at the Arts Statements Gallery in Hongkong, after the liquified Chanel logo is impossible to be wiped out at the Armani Building in Hongkong.

And with this incident, the Administration of the Giorgio Armani Building has laid a HKD 6.7 Million to the young artist and accused him for vandalism. Giorgio Armani Flagship hires professionals to clean out the painting but due to the sandstone facade, they are unable to remove the paint. Zev on the other hand, have claimed that he used a washable ink like what he’s been using to any of his performances around the world.

Here’s one of the few paintings that is available at the Hongkong gallery.
The art collection is open until September 30, 2009. If you’re in Hongkong, go check it out!
