And finally, after so many weeks of waiting I was able to claim my shoes and Banana Pie from my cousins in Manila.
My cousin from Singapore bought me this shoes from H&M and brought it home in Manila. I wasn’t able to meet her in her short stay here so I decided to meet my other cousin (her sister) last week at the Flea Market.

I still haven’t given it a try but I’m thinking of wearing it tomorrow. Loving it, it’s so black that it almost look like a patent! Thanks for the birthday gift!
Of course, her sister have something for me as well courtesy of her Japanese partner who visited Manila at the same day my cousin from SG arrived home.

I was actually wishing that he’ll get me a Leaf Pie but due to the location of the store, he instead bought me Banana Pie which oh so damn good!

Cute bananas with ribbon!
Since we are talking about food here, let me post some Kim Chiu Project food I had recently.
I’ve been eating veggies for more than two months now and I must admit that it really is boring. But, as they say, you can add spices in your life to fully enjoy what you’re doing so here are some food that I’ve reinvented.

I sauteed broccoli, corn, carrot and peas and add up oyster sauce to taste.

My veggie omelette is a disaster! I have more stuffing than the egg, I pinched it when I was about to turn it!

Here’s another dish I made with Cream Dory this time.
My sister cut the Dory into thin slices and added some Calamansi for flavoring. I dipped it in egg before coating it with flour.

I totally forgot I bought Norwegian Salmon, Cream Dory and Milk Fish last week. So when I opened the freezer last night, I thought of cooking a Salmon Dish for my Kim Chiu Project.
I was never fond of canned Salmon. Whenever my mom, dad or sister cooked Pink Salmon for a meal, I either skip meals or cherry picked those good ones – without bones. I hate it whenever I scooped a spoon full of the dish, I ended up chewing their bones which kind of irritates me.
Now that I’m still waiting for my Fish Oil supplement, I don’t have a choice but eat Salmon to help me with my Osteo Arthritis.
Here’s how I end up with my early lunch – Salmon in Pesto Cream Sauce and mixed veggies.

I guess Sunday was created for us to rest that’s why people are lazy to move or get up.
Woke up around 3AM and ate some dimsum I bought from DECs. I was so tired and still sleepy so I decided to go back in bed and woke up again around 10 AM. I was just in front of my computer browsing and reading some stuff thinking if I will see a movie, stroll around the mall or go to SnR to get something.
So after nearly 4PM, I went to the mall for a Foot Spa and Pedicure. My sister, together with my kiddos and her husband followed me to buy rice cooker. After which, we went to SnR Congressional for a Sunday grocery shopping.

Empty car park? Well, we’re the last to leave the store.

Facts of life, I’m not getting any younger. The moment I was diagnosed with Slip Disk and Osteo Arthritis, I got to thinking of taking good care of myself and be serious with my diet – hence I am undergoing Kim Chiu Project.

Sauteed Garlic Chicken x Broccoli x Mushroom
Kim Chiu Project is just something that came out from my head when I am looking for a life peg for my diet. It just happened that Kim Chiu is incredibly thin thus I have to use her to name my so-called diet plan in which I eat loads of veggies, fruits; fish and chicken as meat. I eat pork and bread once in a while but as much as possible I tried to get rid of carbs and sweets. So far I’m cutting down weights and I aim to lose more by the end of the year if not, I’ll resort to Cohen Diet.

Any way, I’ll be turning to my 10 years at work this coming October and I just thought I should start thinking of my future. I’m currently looking for some health insurance and life insurance that offers immediate fixed annuities. This way if I decided to retire, I still have a fixed monthly income and my hospitalization is covered.
You, how do you plan for your future? I really want to know.
