And finally I’m home!

I was supposed to leave the office at 6AM sharp but due to some concerns with my team that needs to be relayed to the Management, I wasn’t able to check out the time and just go on with the flow in discussing some concerns with team members and colleagues.

Leaving the office late, even if its just few minutes is the thing that I avoid. One, I might have gotten myself to do some additional loads. And Second, it’s so difficult to get a cab when its late especially on weekdays. Katipunan is one road that Cab drivers are trying to avoid during peak hours.

I was in front of Eastwood City Mall at around 6:20 AM earlier trying to get a cab on my way home. The first taxi that stopped said he is going South… second is to Marikina… next is to Makati… until the 6th cab who stopped said he isn’t going to Fairview. I asked, “Where are you heading, then?” He told me, Makati. I moved my ass out and waited for the next cab. After 3 more cabs who declined my charm, the 6th cab who told me that he is heading to Makati stopped by once again and this time asking me to jump in!

Driver: “Tara na, ihahatid na kita!” (Jump in! Let’s go!)
Me: Not saying anything… (whispering… Ass hole)
Driver: “Uulan na! Mababasa ka.” (Rain is about to come. You might get wet!)
Me: Still not saying anything and hailed an ABC Cab.

E kung hindi ka ba naman tungaw! Abnoy ka pala, kanina tinataboy mo ako ngayon bigla mo na lang akong isasakay! Ugok!

I hate taxis who are so picky of the destinations of their customers. Why do you have to write “Anywhere in Luzon” on your unit if you are just going to Makati!? I have this sudden feeling of starting a blog on which taxis to take and to avoid.

Ggggrrrrr this pisses me off! On the other hand, ABC Taxi is the best policy!
