This news makes me puke… not in a bad way as I ate the whole Jollibee Regular Yum Burger to my excitement as I was reading the article confirming that THIS TIME she is about to appear at the hit series next season.

I can’t wait for the show down. Just one request, don’t you ever do this again…

I don’t know what’s happening to me but this is turning into addiction. It just started as one day for a trial but I found myself getting hooked to this that I even stayed up all night (like I was not doing that everyday) last week playing Plants vs Zombies!

I’ve been hearing about this game for quite some time now. I read it on twitter that people are getting hooked to it that even Josh (son of Kris) is addicted. I didn’t bother checking on it because I am not into games. The games that I only play are PacMan from our Atari way back when I was still a kid or just recently on Google, Super Mario Brothers, Cooking Mama, and Minesweeper. I don’t even own any game console like XBOX or ps3. I remember last 2008 when I bought this DS Lite in the US. After a month or so of using it, I handed it over to my nephew as I’m just playing Super Mario or Cooking Mama on it.

One day, I noticed that our members in our program are playing this stuff on our test PC. I asked what’s it called and was told that it’s Plants vs Zombies. As soon as I arrived home, I downloaded the trial version and can’t believe to myself that I’m enjoying it to the point that I asked for a crack copy of it (Oh yeah! I asked for it!). But I was not contented with just the pirated copy, I downloaded it on iTunes and bought the licensed version for my iPad! Mind you I downloaded the application even the unit has not arrived yet!

I’m currently starting over and enjoying the HD version on my iPad. Loving it!

I never liked watching movies on weekdays, much more if its the opening day. I can’t stand the lines (thank God for SureSeats), the noisy kiddos and the worry for getting home late knowing that you have work the next day makes me crazy.

However, there are exceptions to this. If the movie is that big wherein it’s worth the “masa” feel (like rubbing elbows just to get into the cinema), why not? That’s why I braved the opening day of the much anticipated sequel of the Sex And The City 2 in TriNoma!

I was surprised that the ticket booth is not that much crowded. The lines were not that long wherein it only takes 10 minutes just to get your reservations for the second screening schedule at the opening day. After paying for the ticket, I went to Brother’s Burger to grab some snack for the movie.

Sex And The City is one of those series or movie that I can watch over and over again. I just love the city, the humor, the fashion, and the scenes. I have the complete DVD series and even bought the DVD of the movie in New York last Fall of 2008. I’m such a fan that when I heard that a sequel is coming out soon I told myself that I’ll be watching it on the first day if ever I never got hold of a movie premiere ticket.

The first movie was amazing! It’s a perfect come back for the girls after a long hiatus. I remember leaving the cinema with a smile even if I was annoyed by my good friend Japoks (he keeps on asking what brand is that, what do you mean by that, where was that). It was such a good feel that every second of the movie makes you feel fierce and fabulous. Yesterday was a different story, I left the movie house with not such a great feel.

Ok ok, what was I looking and expecting in watching the film? Like any other trip to the movie house, I wanted to be entertained (who doesn’t?), smile/laugh and get a time off from office works. I wanted distractions and would like to remind myself that I still have a life amidst of the deadlines I have this week and the week after.

Sex And The City 2 is not a disappointment but it kinda gives you a different feel than the first movie or the series. Some may say that the girls could be that old for another film but I think they will always look fabulous even on their 60s. I think it has to do with the fact that half of the film was shot in the Middle East. It just lost the touch of the “City”.

Don’t get me wrong. I don’t have anything bad to say about UAE (except for the heat). In fact, I do agree when they say that Abu Dhabi is the future. It is very ambitious in a sense that almost everything is luxurious. But I would rather spend my $22,000 in Chinatown than a night stay in that swanky hotel.

Sex And The City is all about looking for great fashion, relationship, love and life. Why is there a need to travel thousands of miles if the City where you at offers everything than what you asked for?

I’m a fan. But I’m a fan who is also looking for a substance in the film. I may satisfy my eyes with Carrie’s fashion, my ears with Samantha’s line, but I needed a smart attack in the film than just feeding our brain with some edgeless story line. Oh Wait, what story line? For 2 1/2 hours, I admit that I had fake laughters… that’s worst than fake orgasm… right Samantha?

Having said that, I’ll still buy a copy of the DVD… and hopefully in New York and not in Middle East. And to Mr. King, if you are planning for the third franchise of the film, always be reminded that renting hiring Liza Minnelli’s double from Madame Tussauds in 42nd Street in this film is the reason why the movie has lost its sparkle (aside from the fact that it reminded us why she’s still single).

Alcia Keys attended the Keep A Child Alive in London wearing a HUGE ruffled dress from Dolce and Gabbana. I just hope that she is hiding her baby bump in that dress but if not, well then she might need some Lipofuze for a quick weight loss.

No offense, I can’t think of any reason on why you need to hide your baby bump from the public if everyone knows about it. Maybe she can’t find a really good dress to compliment her figure. Nice pair of shoes though.
