Last few months ago, we were able to get tickets for this locally produced musical show courtesy of her Royal Fierce Highness, Divine Lee. So last night I’ve asked Orville and Dong to bring along some friends to join us watch the show.
Divine Lee hosted the rerun of this show last night to help Child Haus Philippines. She invited over the gorgeous people behind the Number 1 Podcast BeckyNights and other known personalities in Showbiz and Twitterlandia.
With Buern, such a nice person
Ms. Divine gave a short speech before the show starts but she wanted to steal more time as some guests are still stuck in traffic so she asked Buern to sing the infamous “Thank You” song.
Care Divas is a story of five gay Overseas workers who works as a Care Giver in Israel trying to find ways to have a better life for survival and acceptance. They’ve formed a group to showcase their talents and hoping for a better break.
The Musical aims its audience to learn on how hard the life of our fellowmen abroad. But unlike other shows which only makes us aware of the reality and cry for their experiences, it showcases the culture of the Filipinos that amidst of worries, we still manage to smile and look the positive outlook in life.
Care Divas is such a great experience for me. I was laughing so hard that I don’t even care if it echoed in the theatre! It was so good to forget all the things that bothers me even for just few hours.
Leo, Roxy and Orville with Myke Salomon who played Daniel/Faraj
Orville with Dudz Terrana (Thalia – Balaj Queen of the Night, Hilarious) and Phil Noble as Jonee
I’m thankful for Divine Lee for giving me the opportunity to watch the show and to meet new people! It was a great Friday Night!
