Remember the Essensual Gift I received last year from Toni and Guy? Well, I had another one for this year!

Thanks to Toni and Guy Philippines!

Last minute but, better late than never…

I may say that 2010 may not be the year I was expecting… in fact this became the worst so far in terms of my career and my personal life. Though it didn’t work great, I would still like to thank each and everyone whom I’ve met on my way in finding the right path to survive this year. Thank you, I’ve learned my lessons well… to love my self more.

Anyway, tradition is still a tradition even if the budget is tight (so tight that I don’t even have stamp on my passport this year). Gift Giving is very important to me. As you can see on my previous posts, I always take time to think of my annual gift wrapping motif. The theme must come from anything significant that happen to me that year.

As this year is quite not fun, I’ve chosen Black and Magenta as my color of choice on my wrapper. Actually, the magenta came after I’ve made my decision on black. I thought that Magenta looks great when combined with dark colors.

Black symbolizes the Dark Age while the H Tiles from Lili and Nana symbolizes “Hoping for Happiness” in 2011. I thought of using Tulle as my second ribbon and added fabric flower because of Alber Elbaz of Lanvin – whom I can say one of the best designer and ribbon maker.

This theme is by far the most stressful thing I’ve done in wrapping. Just imagine that I have to cut down the fabric for the flowers and ribbon. If only I could just order fresh flowers from ProFlowers San Francisco I would do to lessen the effort of sewing the
fabric strips to the ribbon.

Anyway, as of this writing I still have 10 gifts to wrap. Enjoy your Holidays Friends!

Here it goes again!

The infamous Starbucks Holiday Planner… I think I won’t be collecting planners anymore as my iPad serves all year round. For gifts I might…

Tomorrow will be the last day of October and till now, I haven’t decided my motif for this year’s Christmas gifts wrapping design. Normally, at this time of the year, I’m already scouting for some presents, start wrapping or at least completing my stocks of ribbons and gift cards. But it’s almost November and all I have is 1 gift that I bought for someone who made the list.

Actually, I was thinking of something that would ease up my Holiday Season. I was thinking of a gift wrapping idea that is custom made, simple but elegant. Something like Tiffany’s gift boxes and/or Hermes’. I’m actually scouting for owners of printing business who can do my personalized ribbon or some handicrafts shops who can do my black and white studded boxes. However, when I found out that they costs an arm and leg, I thought of going other way.

Now I am completely hopeless with the time I have. With work loads I have in the office, Holiday Traffic and some possible vacation trips before the year ends, I might give their gift in a paper bag.

Sigh

While I’m waiting for my Gossip Girl Season 4 to finish downloading, let me add another one on my list for the Holidays.

You know my fascination about coffee… it’s like my mineral water, my fountain of youth! I can’t live a single day without having even a single drop of this liquid.

I recently discovered this instant espresso machine which works like a charm to those who hate to wait and are dummy for the real espresso machine. This machine brews espresso from a Nespresso tablet which can only be acquired from Nestle or official distributor of Nespresso tablet by Nestle.

If you think that the machine is expensive, wait till you learn how much is a tablet!

To you Toni, please check how much this one costs in Singapore. You’ll love this!

Remember, ang hindi kayang abutin… Mag-A4!
