Finally, the much awaited release of the latest designs of Comme Des Garçons Play x Converse shoes!

These new designs will be available in NYC Store and Dover Street Market’s site on May 28. Paris and London on June 1 while Tokyo and the rest of Asia on June 21.
I am aiming to get the Black/White and the Red/White.

Published December 29, 2012 | The Kids and I were in Hong Kong in the early part of December and I was with them most of the time. I was trying to control myself from spending as I was waiting for some news that would actually change everything but I didn’t receive it until we were back in Manila.
I decided to have a “me time” before our flight back to Manila while the rest are enjoying our stay in Hong Kong Disneyland Hollywood Hotel.
It was around 9AM when I left the hotel and took the MTR at Sunnybay going to Hong Kong Station. Although I have something in my mind what to get, I was still battling with myself on whether or not to get that item until I saw this wall.

It was the same wall that my friend Eva and I had our photo taken around 12MN when we bought my first Macbook five years ago. Still, I tried not to consider it a sign and decided to go to the nearest Starbucks for some breakfast. When I was walking towards the counter, it dawned on me that this Starbucks is right beside the first Apple Store in IFC. So when I looked at my right, here’s what greeted me – HEAVEN!

I finished my breakfast as quick as I can and walked towards the entrance as if someone is pulling me. I was on the second floor so what greeted me are the Workshops and Apple Associates helping the buyers set up their new units.

After few minutes, I walked down the glass spiral stairs, wander and asked myself, “Am I dead? If so, Thank God I ended up in Heaven!”.

I called the associate and asked for some assistance in getting me a stock of the 13″ Macbook Pro.

After putting myself to bankruptcy, the Associate guided me upstairs and told me to line up and wait for my turn to setup my new baby. I was supposed to skip this ‘coz I know how to do it but I told myself that I need to stay long ‘coz I’m home.

While in line, the manager saw my iPhone 5 and asked me about my casing. I was using the Starbucks casing and asked me where did I get one. I told him I got one from Taipei. We were talking about my newly acquired baby and told him why was the iPad mini not readily available. He told me that there’s a reservation needed for it. I tried to use my charm but it was my turn to for the setup.

After setting it up, I headed back to Lantau to meet my sister and the kiddos at City Gate Mall. After getting some stuff, we dropped our shopping bags at the hotel before we head out for the park.

You know how much I love Comme des Garçons Play and I would buy anything in this line even if I could settle only in a pair of shoes. I think it’s cool, hip and dated even if the designs are composed only with 3 iconic Hearts (Red, Green and Black).

Just last night, we went down to Adora to check on something. I run across through fragrance section and saw that they carry Comme des Garçons Play Colognes! I was so giddy to find out how they smell as I was looking forward in knowing the scents since I read about them early part of this year (April, I think).
Out of the 3 scents, what I love most is the Green Play. It’s light and minty fresh. It blends well to your skin if you are in a hot weather place. I also love Red Play and would pass as my second option. I think its give more a night feel that it will remind you of a cherry note but in a not that sweet smell. Black Play, on the other hand has this very masculine feel with its strong smoky and peppery smell. I didn’t like it that much but I have a feeling that the smell gets better.
Adora has run out of stocks of the Green Play but they still have the 3 sets all in a box. I would prefer buying the Green Play as my daily cologne.

Finally, here’s something that I can reconsider. Comme des Garcons Black Vibram Sole Brogue Shoes.
