Published June 23, 2012 | Missoni loves Havaianas was launched in Manila with the help of luxury department store Adora last June 14. And since I can’t drop by in Makati that day to get my Missoni fix, I called and made my reservation.

I used to love Havaianas. I lined up at Rockwell (they used to do the Make Your Own Havaianas inside the mall) and had my pairs customized and bought as many pairs as I can until it became common. A lot of people are wearing it already, so I stopped except for collections like this.

Missoni loves Havaianas is a must. It’s pure love! I missed the first collection last year which I hate ‘coz I love the bold zig zag print designs they had.

Now I got a pair, all I can say is… I’m broke.

Brazilian Flip-flop brand Havaianas have partnered once again with high-end Fashion brand Missoni to come up with another eco-friendly slippers using the rubber left overs of Havaianas with the infamous zig zag of Missoni.

Manila’s upscale store, Adora is hosting an Fashion Show to showcase the collection. The flip-flops will be available after the event.
I think last year’s print is way better than this year and too bad I let it pass. If the price is ok, I might hit up the store for a pair.
