The Journey Of A Simple Guy In Finding The Best Of Life
3 Jan
After 5 years of doing un peu d’air sur terre campaign, Lacoste have decided to launch a new campaign for the New Year.
Trying to convey the message that everyone can be chic in a different way, not just when someone is wearing a ball gown for a party or a suit for the office, Lacoste have released their Unconventional way of Style – the Unconventional Chic!
Phptographed by Mert and Marcus, the Unconventional Chic Spring Ad Campaign shows models like Anja Rubik, Liya Kebede, Jon Kortajarena, and Noah Mills wearing polos over sparkling evening gowns and suits.
At first I thought that it could be wrong! But looking more closely on the photo, I suddenly thought that this is a superb idea!!! Its a work of a true genius! Who would’ve thought that a pique polo can be worn over a gown or a suite!? Lacoste just simply gave us a glamorous way of wearing our polo shirt for 2011.
I super Love it!

Damn, I missed it!
Lacoste Spring Summer 2011 Runway show was scheduled last night at 10:30PM Manila and I overslept! I was supposed to take a quick short nap to rest my body from a week’s work and I ended waking up past 12AM!
I missed everything! I missed the new lines, trends for 2011 and the colorful collection by creative director Christophe Lemaire. I just wonder the lack of men’s running shorts for Spring.

The season’s inspiration is Op Art and the bold lines of Bauhaus and architecture. Here you’ll see a wide range of orange and persimmons colors of sheath dresses which at first I thought some sort of scrub suits. The lines are cool stuffs for summer especially those black and white mini dresses which I think very wearable. Also, check out their new line of jewelries made of cool resin cuffs, lovely!

Enjoy the Spring Summer 2011 for Lacoste:

I’m not sure if there’s a mistake on this.
Lacoste has just updated their website showcasing their Fall/Winter 2010 collection and I noticed that there may be some glitches on how they name their collection.
GIPSY CROC
WINTRY CHIC
Don’t you think that the second collection looks more gipsy than the other one and vice versa?
