Have you ever dreamt of being so glamorous yet cool like Patti Smith wearing a gown or Penelope Tree in a Trench? Well, at least Zac Posen thought of that which in the end gave use his Resort 2012 Collection.
Zac Posen is known for some show stopping gown which give drama to every show. Do you remember a scene from the defunct show The Beautiful Life? That beautiful red dress that Mishca Burton or Sonia was supposed to wear in that show is amazing!

For this collection, Zac plays with silhouettes of soft chiffon gathered in bodice-hugging seams to come up with flurry and amazing ruffles. He also made use of a peplum waistcoat to get volumes on the sleeves.
The collection is quite tasteful actually, it’s fierce especially the signature dress which was made of 720 yards of hand-dyed vermillion which he swirl down to produce a outrageous ruffles!

I now have high respect to Coco Rocha who wore the entire collection for a shoot that took only for 2 hours!
