My friends used to tell me about this good Shawarma joint in Fairview area. They keep on telling me to try it as it was not like the best Shawarma they’ve ever tasted.
So last Friday night, my sister and her husband drove to Lagro area where this Shawarma place is hiding. It is located in Bristol street just right after you cross the Lagro Arc.
The place is like the regular food strip in that you can see across the street. There’s no fancy tables and chairs, the place is open (no AC) but it is packed even at 12 Midnight!
We took a number on the counter and waited to be called. Once your number was called, you have to approach the lady and give your orders and pay. Your orders will be prepared just right after the lady echoed it on other staffs.
Verdict? It tasted good but what it differs from other Shawarma I’ve tasted is that it is so meaty! Just like the place, the pita bread is packed with meat and veggies! Great value for money!
