Some of my relatives arrived few weeks ago to attend my cousin’s wedding. And like the usual bonding activities, our two weeks were filled with shopping and dining.
It’s Uncle Bong’s last few days when we attended the Stores Specialist Incorporated Shopping Event in Mega Tent Libis, Quezon City. I was like a contestant in Amazing Race trying to beat time and be on the next pit stop as early as I can.
Reported for work at 12 Midnight so I can go out by 9AM in time for my Visa Application. After submitting all my requirements, I headed back to Libis for the event and to meet up my relatives and shop (that was around 12NN).
I was lusting over this Hugo Boss belt and Burberry Polo when my cousin convinced us in getting this Jeremy Scott Longchamp Pill bag. Since I think it’s a steal for getting around 75% off from its original price, I gave in and took the bad with me. We had to call Pia’s mom so we can convinced her to get the bag for her. So after few minutes, my convincing power has paid off.

We didn’t get that much from the event. I only bought 3 pairs of Calvin Klein boxers and the Longchamp bag. My cousin bought few shirts from Lacoste, and a knit from Springfield.
After the SSI Sale, we had our late lunch at Uncle Cheffy’s and then off to Greenhills for some bargain shopping. Thank God that we need to eat only super light at that time as Uncle Bong’s having a dinner treat that night in Timog. Not much damage on my part – haha.

We’ve arrived in Greenhills around 4PM to get some cheap iPhone cases for pasalubong and left around 6PM for the dinner. Traffic was insane that time as everyone heading somewhere for the long weekend and its raining.
It was around 10PM when we finally hit home and I feel like I’ve accomplished so much that day. Work was kind of crazy early that day as I needed to meet my boss to fill him in with some details for the past 3 months. Knowing that I’ve arrived 12AM and him at 5AM, I had to meet him few minutes before 9AM for the performance explanation. Anyway, all well that ends well.

For my cute little nephew and niece….
Dwayne just got his yellow belt from his Summer Karate Class and Reiko just turned 2 and was recently confined in the hospital. Sad that she was diagnosed with juvenile rheumatoid arthritis.
As a reward, tito bought you some presents since I can’t find anything good for me at the mall.

Honestly, Premium Outlet Store is one of the things I really miss in the US. It’s like you can get original items for a lesser price! How would you like to get a pair of Calvin Klein shirts for just $20 (originally priced at $49 each)? And not just that, I signed up online at their site and when I visited their concierge, I was surprised that I’ve got a VIP Status for membership and got myself some coupons to get extra discounts on the things that I bought! Isn’t that amazing?
Also, they tend to celebrate every US Holidays with a Sale just like what they’re having in the coming July 1st whereas they’ll celebrate 4th of July with a 5-Day Summer Sale.
If I’m in California right now, I’ll be first in line in Las Americas in Camino dela Plaza on day 1.

It was July since I last visited Makati for a dinner night with my sister and cousins, so I decided to head South after my shift yesterday to order flowers for my mom and grandma at Market! Market!
Of course, a visit in the Global City will never be complete without my dose of sugar. My uber fave Sonja’s Cupcake!
I was supposed to try their latest coconut cupcake with banana but I decided not to for I was having some LBM problem that time. So I settled with Choco Creme Pie! Loving it!
After adding 2,000 calories to my slender body (LOL) and for sweating a lot due to summer in October, I checked out Ayala Center for my first Christmas Holiday Shopping Spree. I was this close in buying 5 shirts from Lacoste as they carry their Winter Collection now but I decided just to buy one. Remember – I’m in my state of recession. Gosh! When will this end? I just can’t imagine how will I survive my Christmas gift giving tradition. There’s a lot of fancy things to buy but I just don’t have the moolah.
To avoid myself from committing suicide in buying things, I settled to jail myself into the movie house. I was supposed to see Julie & Julia but that screening time is too late, 500 Days of Summer is the next best option.
The movie is funny and hilarious but I was not able to enjoy it that much since I felt so sleepy that time. I don’t know if it was the dark and comfy movie house or Im so full with the Oscar’s Bundle from NYFD. And because of that, I decided to go home after the movie that night.
Except for the sleepy moments yesterday, I could say that my Saturday afternoon was so fun. I got myself a new shirt, ate my fave cupcake after a long time, ordered flowers for my mom and lola and had some fresh air. A date with myself!
