Last week, I’ve been asked to fly to Davao so I can meet my team and attend the launch of two programs to be added on our Account.

It was a business trip so I never had a chance to visit other places other than Abreeza and some other restaurants. I actually wanted to squeeze in a day tour in Pearl Farm but we really can’t find time. Anyway, at least I was able to meet my team and was able to talk to them personally and not just by phone. That’s the first thing on my list and I am happy that I was able to accomplish it.

3 guys, 44 days, 11 countries, 18 flights, 38 thousand miles, an exploding volcano, 2 cameras and almost a terabyte of footage… all to turn 3 ambitious linear concepts based on movement, learning and food ….into 3 beautiful and hopefully compelling short films…..

= a trip of a lifetime.

It was indeed a trip of a lifetime!!! Coolness… I want to have my own version moving on a linear concept on all major Fashion Districts all over the world clothes changing but with holding more and more shopping bags while I’m walking!

Plaza Inn

Last month in Hong Kong when we had a day tour at Disneyland, we dine in at the Plaza Inn Restaurant which houses yummy Cantonese cuisines.

Plaza Inn’s Interior was inspired by the movie Mulan. Color changing Chinese lanterns were hanging o the garden setup in the middle of the restaurant.

I forgot the name of the rice but it’s yummy… and that’s the biggest Hakaw I’ve seen so far and it was tasty!

My Flights of Fantasy

Disneyland never failed to bring out the childhood in me! There’s always a smile on my face and seems the only things to think of are Good Vibes! I’ve been to Disneyland 4 times already (3 in HK and 1 in Anaheim) and I don’t care even if they offer the same attractions. As long as it makes me feel happy, I will keep on coming back to this theme park.

If you’re about to visit HK Disneyland, here’s the attraction that you shouldn’t miss:

1. Festival of the Lion King
2. Magic Mickey
3. It’s A Small World
4. Parade
5. Fireworks

Since I’m with the Thunders, we decided to skip off the Fireworks as they don’t want to wait till 8:30 PM. They wanted to go shopping (which in the end, I was the one who shopped non-stop).

I’m ok with skipping the Fireworks but it is not advisable for a first timer like my cousin to skip it especially now that it’s their fifth year anniversary. Good Thing that we stayed long enough to see the parade which I enjoyed! Honestly, Christmas parade is better but Flights of Fantasy is quite fun! I actually enjoyed the theme song to the point that I danced on the street and don’t care if they are actually making fun of me or what! It’s actually good in which I wish that I’m with my nephew and nieces…

Check out the video and enjoy the music. If you are planning to visit any time this year (before Christmas), try to memorize the song to enjoy more the parade! FYI – The song is a combined bucket of Disney songs. I just love it!
