The Journey Of A Simple Guy In Finding The Best Of Life
21 Feb
Last December, my trip to Taiwan was cancelled leaving my 2010 with no stamp on my passport. My friend Cee and I bought a round trip ticket last April 2010 bound for Macau and Hongkong but due to some unavoidable circumstances, Cee wasn’t able to make it leaving me alone here in the Shopping Capital of Asia.
Though I know that it will be lonely for me to fly alone, I took this opportunity to be at least be with myself and try to reflect on everything that’s happening in my corporate life. There are some issues and I need to reflect and think of the right decision to make. I needed some career advice to put me back on the right track.
We left Manila at 20 minutes before 7AM and arrived early than estimated schedule or arrival. Hong Kong is my favorite destination in Asia. Foods are good, the city is very easy to navigate, and the prices are not that expensive!
I was excited to finish the entire airport process as I was looking forward to dine in at Cafe de Coral. However, as soon as I step on the arrival hall the CDC’s station was replaced by F2 or Food Squared by Maxim’s group. I have no choice but to order and have breakfast at the said fast food.
After breakfast, I crossed the Airport Express Railway and went to Terminal 2 to check out the shops.
They still have decorations for the Chinese New Year
The Magazine stands selling Magazines with free tote bags!
Actually, this is the main reason why I crossed on Terminals… the only Lacoste Outlet Store in Hong Kong!
Ok, HK Lacoste carries sizes up to 7 only. And since they only have long sleeves for 7, I settled for bags.
After befriending the Lacoste’s Sales Attendant, I hopped in on the bus to town and enjoyed free wifi while watching my luggage on the monitor.
I went for a walk while waiting for my room and checked the Parklane branch if they still have the Peanut Collection Shirt that Dwayne wants…. it was Sold Out!
My first day of vacation went well… I spent it walking around Nathan and Canton Road… hopping in and out of the shops… while praying leaving the stores empty handed.

Thank God It’s Almost Friday!!!! 7 more hours to go and I’m off to Wonderland!
I’ve been wanting to take a break from all the stress, headaches, pressures and issues in the office since last year. The task that started last October 2009 is getting too complicated and I am so fed up with it! If only I can move on and be compensated by this blogging hobby or file for some financial assistance like Denver payday loans, I would. When will all this issues go away? I needed a break!
This vacation will really help me find myself and know what I really want to do in my life… I hope it will… hoping for the best!

As you all know, my friends and I went up North last weekend to feel the cold breeze of air of Baguio. Actually, I was just planning to go alone to relax my body and soul. However, since my good friend Sally went back home from Singapore, I’ve asked her and Japoks to join in.
Sally and I just wanted to stay lounging and talking about things that happened to our lives. Japoks on the other hand, wanted to tour around the city and go back to the places we’ve been to the last time we’re in Baguio. Surprised and disappointed that we spent hours and hours talking instead of walking, Japoks decided to loosen it all up!
He decided to have fun by posing in front of the camera:
His Abby Beduya poses:
And Priscilla Almeda:
Japoks can’t help it and gave me some editorial poses….
This forest is so cool makes me feel like in Cresskill during the fall. I told him to work his Alice moves in the Wonderland:
Just imagine how long it takes for me to explain the concept I wanted.
Japoks is funny… people in the office love him as he always makes us laugh! Check out this video below when he’s playing wii games or PS3 games in a friend’s house. Our office mates can’t stop laughing at him!
Never a dull moment with this guy as everything he does will surely put smiles and yuck on your face.

I was hoping for a weekend getaway even for just a day to relax my mind and soul from all the worries in the office. So when I’ve heard that my friend Sally was coming home from Singapore, I’ve asked my friend Japok to ask permission if he can go on double shift last Friday. As planned and with luck (chance passenger), we took the 1AM bus schedule to Baguio.
We arrived around 7AM at the Victory Liner Terminal in Baguio last Saturday. It feels great to be in a different place on my rest day.
I actually don’t have any plans to roam around Baguio City. I just wanted to stay in Starbucks, Camp John Hay to drink coffee, feel the cold breeze of nature and to browse the net.
After staying for hours in House of Waffles and Starbucks, we move our butts off to The Manor Hotel to goof around. Good thing that the weather is cold as I feel like I have taken some adapexin-p with all that walking.
After buying some stuffs in Good Sheperd, at the Market and a little strolling in SM to kill time, we walked back to Victory Liner Terminal and hop in on the 10PM bus schedule to Manila.
So that’s how we spend our Saturday. Tiring but Fun!
