I still feel the pain of my Whiplash and I still can’t move to see a doctor to get medications… Anyway, since cable is down, I decided to scan through my photos…
Here’s from San Diego… Mile of Cars… A Mile Stretch of Cars…
This place reminds me of the Pixar’s movie Cars..
I am not fascinated that much with cars and its not on the top of my list but I am considering of saving part of my earnings to get one.
Soon..

When I was on vacation last few days ago, I went to the Langham Place Mall to kill time before going on to my next destination to claim Dwayne’s shirt for his birthday.
I arrived at the Mongkok Station around 15 minutes before 11AM. I walked out at Exit C3 and find myself inside the mall. Since most stores are still closed, I surveyed outside and took some photos of the Happy Man Statue right in front the H&M store.
The moment I reached the main floor on the 4th level of the mall, this escalator catches my attention.
This is the longest escalator within a Shopping Mall in Hong Kong. The first set will lead you to the 8th floor and the second set will lead you to heaven!
If you are afraid of heights, you can climb up the stairs at the spiral. However, I chooses to use the Xpresscalators as I’m pretty much sure that my effort of climbing those stairs won’t give a strong muscles like hemo rage black is doing to body builders.
Anyway, since they just celebrated the Chinese New Year, they have this Horoscope display in the mall. I can’t leave the mall without checking my horoscope.
Read it guys, I will have romantic life this year! What the…???
Not convinced… I tried my second Horoscope based on the rumored changes in the alignment of the moon or something like that.. whatever!???
They also have statues of zodiac signs in placed at each level of the mall. Imagine my effort in looking for Cancer and I found it on the top most level of the mall! The 13th Floor!!!
Each statue has this machine that would rate your fortune for the year. You just have to donate any amount for the machine to work.
The rating ranges from Bad to Excellent and the machine will rate you depending on the aspect of your life you selected. I’ve chosen career ‘coz that’s the only thing I value in life… for now, at least.
I’m thankful but not excited. I was supposed to try it on Leo but I can’t seem to find the Leo Machine.
Anyways, at least it’s not “Wait and See What Will Happen”.

Last December, my trip to Taiwan was cancelled leaving my 2010 with no stamp on my passport. My friend Cee and I bought a round trip ticket last April 2010 bound for Macau and Hongkong but due to some unavoidable circumstances, Cee wasn’t able to make it leaving me alone here in the Shopping Capital of Asia.
Though I know that it will be lonely for me to fly alone, I took this opportunity to be at least be with myself and try to reflect on everything that’s happening in my corporate life. There are some issues and I need to reflect and think of the right decision to make. I needed some career advice to put me back on the right track.
We left Manila at 20 minutes before 7AM and arrived early than estimated schedule or arrival. Hong Kong is my favorite destination in Asia. Foods are good, the city is very easy to navigate, and the prices are not that expensive!
I was excited to finish the entire airport process as I was looking forward to dine in at Cafe de Coral. However, as soon as I step on the arrival hall the CDC’s station was replaced by F2 or Food Squared by Maxim’s group. I have no choice but to order and have breakfast at the said fast food.
After breakfast, I crossed the Airport Express Railway and went to Terminal 2 to check out the shops.
They still have decorations for the Chinese New Year
The Magazine stands selling Magazines with free tote bags!
Actually, this is the main reason why I crossed on Terminals… the only Lacoste Outlet Store in Hong Kong!
Ok, HK Lacoste carries sizes up to 7 only. And since they only have long sleeves for 7, I settled for bags.
After befriending the Lacoste’s Sales Attendant, I hopped in on the bus to town and enjoyed free wifi while watching my luggage on the monitor.
I went for a walk while waiting for my room and checked the Parklane branch if they still have the Peanut Collection Shirt that Dwayne wants…. it was Sold Out!
My first day of vacation went well… I spent it walking around Nathan and Canton Road… hopping in and out of the shops… while praying leaving the stores empty handed.
