So since Jessica Sanchez is the first Filipino (half at least) to compete in American Idol finals, what do you think is the best song choice for her to snatch the title from the uber talented Phillip Philips? Honestly, if last Wednesday’s show was the finale, Philips is already the winner!

Here are my song choices for her:

She did a good cover above and for Sweet Dreams and I think she can do a better rendition on this song than the one uploaded on YouTube.

If I will be her stylist, I’ll ask her to wear the Oyster Dress designed and created by the late Alexander McQueen. I can see her to own the stage and emote as if she’s shooting for a music video.

I’ve been craving for a Pad Thai and Bagoong rice for weeks now and I can’t simply find any good resto around our area that serves good Thai food. Sukhothai who used to serve spicy Thai noodles is already out of business while My Thai Kitchen doesn’t live up to my expectation for a place who shouts Thai food!

Last week, my friend and I was planning to hit Salcedo Market in Makati to try this vendor called Azuthai who cooks Thai food. I’ve heard good reviews and wanted to try it badly. We were supposed to try it yesterday but I woke up around 8AM which is uber late for to catch up something good in Salcedo considering I’ll be traveling all the way from Fairview.

So, we decided to meet up in People’s Palace another Thai Restaurant who serves good Phad Thai in a good clear ambiance.

A one sided off shoulder and a violet strap bra is needed when having Thai Food

Most of the food served in People’s Palace is good for sharing (at least for two) but we still opted to order Pad Thai for ourselves.

My benchmark for Pad Thai is the one I’ve tried in Siam Paragon in Bangkok but I know it’s not fair to compare our locals with someone from a place who specializes it. So my take with People’s Place Pad Thai would be second (first for now is the one served in Benjarong – so spicy which I love). However, price wise is good considering the serving.

As for Bagoong Rice, I super love it! I can actually taste the saltiness and sweetness of the Bagoong in the rice. I’m actually craving for another one right now by just the thought of it.

After catching up, we stroll around the mall for while as I can’t handle the pain of my left leg anymore from sitting.

We checked for some items and bought some stuff before we head to our relaxation. Wensha Spa in Pasay. We both needed a massage that day and I was hoping that I would get rid off the pain I’m feeling from my left leg but I think I guess I might be heading to Ortho in the next coming days.
